Rust prevention begins with car body construction

What use is an outstanding handicraft if it lacks of an appropriate strategy? In order to protect vintage cars from corrosion while
reconstructing the car body there are many rules to be abided by and latest technological capabilities are required.

Furthermore we are aware of the meaning of the term restoration and our work concept is based on it: We try to replace only as much
sheet metal as  is necessary. The sheet metal parts are detached for separate repair and afterwards welded back onto the car body.
Should you require even more authenticity we have the possibility of placing the weld seams originally.
Overlapping weld seams, which should only be existing on the exterior skin (besides original exceptions), should principally be opened because that is where the rust develops fastest a cause to the capillarity of water. It`s the location of it´Ls usual commence.
With the right strategy, latest technology as well as assistance from the sandblaster and the painter, hollows and overlaps can be sealed stainlessly before the exterior skin (which has been cleaned and painted inside) is attached to the body.
We use temperature resistant chemicals and modern welding technology. These two factors are well-coordinated and useable together.
